RiseUP had another year leaving an impact on the streets, eyes, and minds of Connecticut through our Public Art efforts. As Connecticut's leading Public Art agency, we are hyper focused on creating a Connecticut that is filled with vitality and positive energy.
Through Public Art, RiseUP is able to bring thousands of people together to create localized, community centric projects that will have an impact on a town or city for decades to come. It is an incredible honor to be trusted with our partners ideas, concepts, and funding to produce our larger-than-life murals and placemaking activations.

Other Key Accomplishments
Launched The Studio CT in Hartford and Bridgeport as a creative incubator spaces for artists and artisans. The Studio CT hosts workshops for youth and adults, open studio hours, hosts events and art shows, and serves as the hub to develop the future of public art in Connecticut.
Given the growth and demand for public art, RiseUP launched regional Public Art Chapters in different areas of Connecticut:
Public Art Northeast (Covers Windham and Tolland Counties),
East Hartford Murals (Covers the Town of East Hartford)
Parkville Paints Project (Parkville Neighborhood in Hartford)
Stamford Murals (Lower Fairfield County) program
Launched The Art Club, a statewide virtual and in-person networking group for artists and creatives
Hired first, full-time Executive Director in organization’s history
Received the League of Conservation Voters Environment Achievement Award
Received the CT Art Hero Award by State of CT Office of the Arts
